TSA quality telecare award

Taking Care have achieved the TSA Quality Standards Framework for Chichester Careline.

Taking Care were awarded the QSF at the TSA's International Technology Enabled Care Conference (ITEC) gala dinner on the 15th October. The QSF offers Technology Enabled Care providers a way of demonstrating safety and quality.

The transition project that has been recognised means that Taking Care now partners with 20 local authorities. With the UK’s elderly population living longer, often with long-term medical conditions, local authorities are facing increasing pressure to deliver essential telecare and lifeline services with stretched resources.

Taking Care is able to provide these authorities with best of breed technology combined with specialist telecare operators, to support the most vulnerable in their communities.

About Taking Care

Taking Care has been providing personal alarms for the elderly for more than 30 yearshelping people stay safe in their homes across the UK.

Each year we handle over 25,000 emergency alarm calls from older and vulnerable people. Customers love the peace of mind our service offers. 99% of them say they like the security of knowing someone’s there at the press of a button.

We’re trusted to provide the Age UK personal alarm service, and in March 2019 took over the running and management of Chichester Careline. This means we now provide telecare for customers in several local authority areas in Hampshire and Surrey. We employ around 150 staff, each carefully chosen for their caring and professional manner.
